Speaker Profiles

The Speakers We Are Looking For

Our FY26/27 portfolio is built on practitioner-led workshops, labs, and tabletop exercises. These are the characteristics that define an ideal speaker for our upcoming events.

01

Practitioner-led, not lecture-only

Speakers must demonstrate actual tools, workflows, templates, or case materials rather than present conceptual guidance alone. Every session should produce a usable template, checklist, decision, demonstration, or practice exercise.

02

Complementary expertise, not a single keynote

Each conference combines 3 subject-matter speakers plus a panel or lab team so the full causal chain — risk, control, assurance, and remediation — is covered by people who have lived it.

03

Current, hands-on experience

Preference for CAEs, IT Audit, SOX/Internal Controls, data governance, model risk, cyber, fraud, and behavioral-risk practitioners who have implemented the topic in the last 24 months.

04

Facilitation capability

At least one speaker per event must be able to facilitate a hands-on lab, workshop, or tabletop exercise with teams of practitioners and drive them to a defensible decision.

05

Independence and role clarity

Content must respect Internal Audit independence and role boundaries. Sponsor-affiliated speakers are welcome but sessions must be educational — no product pitches or software demonstrations.

06

CPE-ready materials

Speakers provide learning objectives, slides, and take-home tools in advance to support CPE documentation, subject to Certification/NASBA validation.
